A reconfigured version of the 9.5m Zulu Fishing Charters offshore fishing vessel built in 2011, the 10m crew boat shares the same stability and sparkling performance. Rather than the twin Mercury outboards specified in the Zulu boat, this vessel has a single Yanmar 6CXB-GT inboard that provides the exceptional reliability required in this type of vessel. The unique hull form of the CMS 9.5 m offshore fishing boat is very capable in a large range of conditions, and this gives the design a wide variety of applications. Thus far, this hull has been applied to designs for a crew boat, a general workboat, and even a high speed patrol craft. The aluminium hull is specified to commercial offshore standards meeting Lloyds Register 4G classification. The hull used for this version is slightly wider than the Zulu Charters boat, providing solid stability both at speed and when stationary. Both waterjet and shaft drive propulsion options are available for this design.
